I just launched own․page on Product Hunt 🚀 It’s my first ever launch there, and I’d really appreciate your support! If you could check it out and give feedback it would mean the world to me. I’ve poured my heart into own․page and devoted so much time to building it, so I’d love to get it in front of as many people as possible. Thank you so much 💜

That awkward moment when you tell Codex what to change, it misunderstands you, rewrites half the app and somehow it looks and works exactly the same.

i made an app that feeds you to the sharks if you don't publicly launch your own product in 30 days. no more of this: "dude i just 100x'ed my workflow with this new AI model"... meanwhile... 0 projects launched 0 revenue 0 users 100 x 0 = still 0. it's time to go from 0 to 1. it's time to: SHlPORDIE.COM 🏴‍☠️. ship a new product every 30 days until one changes your life or... DIE, in the app, and get kicked from the community forever while being publicly humiliated. no refunds for those who fail to ship. custom trophies to be collected for those who succeed. if you DO ship, you also get to remain in a community of people who actually ship things and get users ++ revenue. sidenote: i'm really excited to see if this can be the push someone needs like how @marclou's shipfast project pushed me and is the entire reason i have a $35K MRR solo operated SaaS now and many other successful mobile apps GLHF, DON'T DIE, and KEEP GOING!! i've never taken a launch this legit so let's see how it goes :)

Folks: when you write skills, ask your agent to be token efficient, relax grammer. I see too many skills that write books in the skill description, and all that crap is loaded into every context. I wrote a skill that finds the worst offenders. github.com/steipete/agent…

Security 𝕏 has been a horror feed lately. Every week it is another supply chain attack, another compromised package, another reminder that no human can keep up with this manually anymore. So I created an Agent Skill to proactively check my repos nightly at 2AM. All 49 of my active repos. At once. (...and yes I have ADHD 😅) If it finds issues, it spins up Codex per repo to try fixing them, then verifies the result with the same scanner. Try it out - github.com/TheSethRose/Vu…

I tried to do something simple tonight. Set up my smoker. You know, normal “man” stuff. My dad died when I was in my 20s. Unfortunately, he wasn’t around long enough for me to learn that stuff from him. Fishing. Sports. Car repairs. Grilling. Fixing things. I’ve avoided grilling and smoking my whole adult life, until work decided that was a good gift for me for some reason. So I burned my hand and still somehow managed to still not start a fire. Yeah, I know grown men can learn things. I know YouTube and ChatGPT exist. Here I am 18 years later, and all I could think was: Why did he have to fucking die? Grief loves to show up in weird places and it sucks. At least I can use AI now to see what he might have looked like now and think about how he might have seen my son graduate.

It’s going to be interesting as AI and robotics keep expanding, that’s for sure. Right now, the main drivers are financial and popularity. I think if AI and robotics keep expanding to the point where the desire for those things starts to fade....are we going to be able to cleanly predict what will replace them? I know something will though...and its prob going to be weird 🤔

As more people come to recognize the tells of AI, which mostly happens as you start to work with AI a lot, the scales are going to fall from their eyes and they are going to realize what some of us already see: how much of this site (and blog posts, articles, papers) are AI now.
