🗨️Today, at the @WorkersEESC meeting, I voiced the concerns of the Swedish Trade Unions regarding the Swedish Gov/@ninalarsson's decision to indefinitely pause the implementation of @hadjalahbib's & @RoxanaMinzatu's #PayTransparency Directive, to be implemented by 7 June!

👏Great to see @VDombrovskis clarify that the push against “gold‑plating” won’t undermine Member States’ right to set stronger social rules. Better EU rule‑making must go hand in hand with great social & labour standards!

🗣️After nearly a decade of talks, Council @MMousiouttas & Parliament @gabischoff reach a preliminary deal on EU social security coordination. Next: @RoxanaMinzatu's autumn proposal on ESSPASS, the EU’s digital social security pass.

📢On Wednesday, Commissioner @Teresaribera will point to remote work as a short‑term measure to help reduce energy demand. 👩🏽‍💻 It is one ex. among several suggested to Member State, not an EU requirement, in response to the current #energy 🔋situation.

At the @EU_EESC, we discussed AI’s impact on health & safety. In view of EP’s work & @RoxanaMinzatu’s Quality Jobs Act, I stressed the relevance of the EU OSH framework directive & that new measures must avoid parallel structures & keep procedures in the hands of Member States!

At today’s meeting between @TheProgressives & the @WorkersEESC, 🔻President @IratxeGarper sent a messages to @RoxanaMinzatu by drawing a red line: @BusinessEurope’s push for a ‘Social Omnibus’ to roll back social protections was unacceptable to the @TheProgressives.
