Madame Celeste Amarilla,

@EagleScreech76 @RasmusJarlov These people act like they didn't lambast the United States and its citizens after they beat us… They act so innocent

I wanted to make a similar thread about the sour Belgian responses after their loss to Spain tonight.
But wait... there aren't any.
They simply acknowledge that they lost and move on without throwing shit at Spain as a country.
Amazing.

So many to chose from, but here are some of the most legendary USA comebacks after Belgium wiped the floor with the USMNT: 1) "But do you have aircraft carriers?" : x.com/CenturionsOath…

@JoueursBE Reminder that all Americans at this time have totally forgotten about the World Cup… Bye-bye
English

@BelRedDevils Maybe Trump will call the commissioner again and force a rematch for you guys
English

@BelRedDevils As an American I will be respectful despite the team mocking a sitting United States president… We can all agree Trump's a clown but they should have at least respected the office of the presidency…

@scrappleSports @Anth_Chatburn What about BIG PORTER MARTONE
English

@Anth_Chatburn @setonhall122 But sure, him playing left side would help. (Martone can play left BTW). But, Tocchet needs to manage that correctly. We are trying to build - they had zero chance to win a cup last year but they did have a chance to develop some guys.

@realfbllliason There's two sides of the coin in your argument… You're going to sign a player long-term who has a broken back?
English

It’s pretty wild that Cutter Gauthier had almost double the amount of points in the playoffs as Trevor Zegras playing with a broken vertebrae, that’s wild! Not getting Leo Carlsson and not signing anyone else?! #FlyTogether

@realfbllliason Fuck cutter
English

@scrappleSports @Anth_Chatburn That's fair man. You're right… it was his second year in the league. He'll be fine.
English

@Anth_Chatburn @setonhall122 MM 100% needs to get better. Everyone knows that including him who owned up to his mistake and said he was going to train better. Tocchet is a blockhead and played him out of position all year, needed Danny to make him switch, DeBoer to fix defense, and never admitted fault.
English

@RedHockey1 @DucksFanZone That's speculative at this point in time

Anaheim now has the highest paid player in the NHL. Has he earned it? No. Can he? The uncomfortable answer is probably not. Leo has the makings of an elite player but he's not the cream of the crop in his age range and might never be.
Hard to blame him for taking the bag though.

BREAKING: Anaheim matches Philadelphia's offersheet for Leo Carlsson. Anaheim now has the highest paid player in the NHL.
English

@DSAlarm @JLazzy23 That's like saying you're in an argument with your current girlfriend and your ex wants to get back together so you tell her you will get back together unless you make up with your current girlfriend otherwise you will remain with your current girlfriend man let's be honest
English

@JLazzy23 It might be unpopular but it’s the truth
Guy was offer sheeted. It wasn’t a negotiation. He didn’t ask for it.
This wasn’t an arbitration hearing and he was awarded that. You left your player exposed and vulnerable. That’s on the GM. Carlsson just has to keep doing his thing.
English

My opinion is probably unpopular, but I don’t think Leo Carlsson has to justify anything because he wasn’t playing hardball and asking for $18M, it was offered to him and of course he took it, who wouldn’t?
Obviously he needs to play well and produce, but I don’t think there should be an expectation for him to get 100 points.
If Leo puts up 70-80 points and continues to develop into a superstar in this league while the Ducks are a winning hockey team, that’s a successful season to me.
Drew Livingstone@ProducerDrew_
What does Leo Carlsson’s stat line have to be next season to justify the $18M cap hit?
