We pay $795 a year for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and they won’t let us into a half empty Sapphire Lounge with plenty of open seats.
“You’re more than 3 hours before your flight. You can’t enter.”
“But Delta delayed our flight 6 hours.”

We now know that at least two Air Force tankers suddenly broadcast an emergency signal over the Gulf this morning.
Shortly after an Airforce Search and Rescue team was deployed and *ALL* 30 other tankers were grounded.
It seems *very* likely that Iran shot down two US tankers.

This is highly unusual after more than 30 were active this morning, with two having squawked 7700 (general emergency) earlier today and their status still unknown. The tankers may have pulled back from the region, or all tankers have gone dark and turned off their ADS-B after the 2 incidents.

The file, called weights.bin, is part of Google’s Gemini Nano on-device language model and lands in the browser’s user data folder under OptGuideOnDeviceModel. It powers built-in AI tools such as “Help me write,” smarter tab suggestions, on-device scam detection, and page summarization. The download triggers automatically for devices meeting minimum hardware requirements, and Chrome often replaces the files if deleted. While the model processes data locally, installation happens in the background with minimal notification. The scale is noteworthy. Hundreds of millions or billions of installations add up to thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions globally from data transfer, even though each is a one-time event. To prevent or remove it, go to chrome://flags, disable the entries for the optimization guide on-device model and Prompt API, restart the browser, and manually delete the folder.

My husband and I have been loyal @Delta customers for over a decade. Diamond. Platinum. -- you name it. They have a lot of our money. But today we quit.
Delta destroyed our property. We filed a claim. We sent every receipt, every photo, every document they demanded. We waited, were strung along. It's all a game.
Then came the letter. It said our evidence — the evidence *they asked for* — "casts doubt."
So we were told, in legalese, to fck off. Let's be clear about what this is: Delta broke our property. Delta made us chase them. Delta strung us along to waste our time, and our money. Because Delta does not give a single fck.
This is what this country has come to. Greed disguised as loyalty programs, while charging us for the privilege of being a "valued customer." While they laugh at us and their executives receive hundreds of millions in bonuses at our expense.
Figure out whose business you actually want, @Delta. Because you just made that decision for us.
