My time with The Daily Gazette came to an end today. It was a great ride. To everyone who followed me for my #UnionHockey and #ECACHockey coverage for 30 seasons, thank you. For those who listened to “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” thank you.

@SchlossmanGF Guess BC and BU didn’t have enough highly touted draft picks on their rosters. 😂😂😂

Surrounded by top talent across the league, these three players delivered standout seasons and set themselves apart all year long! Congratulations to Hayden Stavroff, Tyler Dunbar, and Ethan Wyttenbach on being named finalists for the Player of the Year Award! #ECACHockey

Yale Men's Head Hockey Coach nations search underway. Interim Head Coach Joe Howe is well thought of and certainly a candidate. A couple blue blood assistants have already expressed interest. Every D1 job is a precious opportunity. Wide net will be cast.

Setting the tone from the blue line. Congratulations to Hoyt Stanley (@CornellMHockey), Elliott Groenewold (@QU_MIH), and Eric Charpentier (@Dartmouth_MIH) on being named finalists for Best Defensive Defenseman! #ECACHockey | @hockeytape

Impacting the game from every zone. Congratulations to Jonathan Castagna (@CornellMHockey), Cam MacDonald (@Dartmouth_MIH), and David Jacobs (@princetonhockey) on being named finalists for Best Defensive Forward! #ECACHockey

From what I’m hearing, highly doubt Ethan Wyttenbach is on Quinnipiac next year in an NIL world, can’t see him not taking big money from a BC, BU, UND, etc. He also doesn’t owe Quinnipiac anything, they originally wanted him to go back to the USHL, which was crazy.

The future is bright 🌟 Announcing the 3⃣ finalists for the Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Year Award! @Merrimack_MIH // @FriarsHockey

Landon DuPont since Jan. 30: • 20 GP • 8 G • 28 A +29 122-point pace over a full 68-game season. Now the 3rd most productive draft-minus-one defenceman in WHL history

What an insane collapse by Quinnipiac. Blow a 3-1 lead in the third period by allowing 2 shorthanded goals on the same power play and then immediately allowing the game winner. Clarkson will head to Lake Placid, impressive run for them. They have been having a great second half
