Your team didn’t make the tournament because they didn’t win enough games. It wasn’t a tiebreaker or computer.

Sorry to hear this news. #ECACHockey was made better as a result of Ken’s coverage for the last 3 decades. Thank you, Ken, for the dedication and commitment to your craft and our league over the years.
Ken Schott #ThePartingSchottsPodcast@slapschotts

My time with The Daily Gazette came to an end today. It was a great ride. To everyone who followed me for my #UnionHockey and #ECACHockey coverage for 30 seasons, thank you. For those who listened to “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” thank you.

@SchlossmanGF Guess BC and BU didn’t have enough highly touted draft picks on their rosters. 😂😂😂

Tyler Dunbar won’t win this award (last Union ECAC POY was Mike Vecchione in 2017) but this show how much opposing coaches think of him. He carried this Union team at times. Big things coming in 26-27 for Mr. Dunbar.
ECAC Hockey@ecachockey

Surrounded by top talent across the league, these three players delivered standout seasons and set themselves apart all year long! Congratulations to Hayden Stavroff, Tyler Dunbar, and Ethan Wyttenbach on being named finalists for the Player of the Year Award! #ECACHockey

Will be interesting who ends up a candidate at Yale. Would have to imagine Tapp is on the list like he was at RPI and Brown. I would think they’d have interest in James Marcou at Harvard too
BucciOT.Com@Buccigross

Yale Men's Head Hockey Coach nations search underway. Interim Head Coach Joe Howe is well thought of and certainly a candidate. A couple blue blood assistants have already expressed interest. Every D1 job is a precious opportunity. Wide net will be cast.

This guy on tiktok makes Ai arena renderings for club hockey teams and this is just another reminder Syracuse should one billion percent have a d1 college team

@hockey_east So is Kale McCallum a rookie too despite being 24 and in his 4th year at a college just because he didn’t play in the NCAA lol? What a dumb definition. Levi also shouldn’t have been. He was at NU the year before but got injured at WJC. Haven’t seen any other conference do this!

@sezenack Rookies are defined as first-year NCAA players. Devon Levi won Rookie of the Year (and national rookie of the year) as an academic sophomore. It has nothing to do with eligibility.

@LynahFan Potentially. I don’t think Quinnipiac is one of those teams based on what I’ve heard though

@sezenack Having an NIL collective =/= can pay for him to stick around Lots of teams have NIL collectives with like $10 in them

From what I’m hearing, highly doubt Ethan Wyttenbach is on Quinnipiac next year in an NIL world, can’t see him not taking big money from a BC, BU, UND, etc. He also doesn’t owe Quinnipiac anything, they originally wanted him to go back to the USHL, which was crazy.

What an insane collapse by Quinnipiac. Blow a 3-1 lead in the third period by allowing 2 shorthanded goals on the same power play and then immediately allowing the game winner. Clarkson will head to Lake Placid, impressive run for them. They have been having a great second half

@BrownHockeyBlog Union is inconsistent so I expect it’s going to be great from them considering last night was a stinker

I’m expecting that 3/4 of the ECAC series are going to get sent to a 3rd game today. I think Quinnipiac, Cornell and Union all bounce back
