Just canceled my @InstacartHelp order because it was changed from 3 p.m. today to tomorrow between 9 and 11 a.m. AFTER it was being shopped. No reason given. Unacceptable. I will be looking at alternative grocery delivery services now that I've canceled order and my renewal.

@MBHenry1985 The first time I put myself out there was terrifying. But I've written three books since and published two. Now, I crave feedback because it has ALWAYS made my stories better. I make sure I'm rested and receptive before reading or hearing comments and thank them for their help.

@lhallwriter I would have to go with Dracula as well, but Wuthering Heights would be a close second.

@KupcakeProse If you . . . um . . . like . . . write dialogue the way people . . . um...really speak when they talk you're going to . . . like I was saying before . . . ramble a lot and insert a lot of filler words. Write efficient dialogue that sounds and reads naturally and serves the story.

Eliza Jabore Preorder BACKSTABBERS now!
How often do you use someone’s name when speaking to them? You should write dialogue how people actually speak! Unbelievable or clunky dialogue is one of the fastest ways to turn me off a book.

Thought maybe @DoorDash would be better than @Seamless. But both services suck. Tonight, my @doordash driver brought me two spilled drinks and no food, blamed the restaurant, and left. Took 25 minutes to report and get refund. No food. No apology. And I lost my $25 discount.

Writing a book is like running a marathon. Many people sign up. Only a fraction actually start the race. Less make it to mile 20. And fewer still actually cross the finish line. So if you ever feel like giving up...think about that moment when you finally break through the tape. 🏅 The pride you'll feel looking back at mile one will make every step worth it.

They say that every writer has a recurring idea in every book... the main idea of his life... have you found yours yet?

⛈️ It's my birthday. Yay. ⛈️ So, today only, go grab my fantasy heist novella for free. And maybe buy one of my other books while you're at it. And maybe an audiobook or two. And maybe send coffee? I like coffee 😂

@SophiaLiam25212 Usually one book at a time, with some overlap between the final proofreading and publishing of one and the first drafting of the next. But right now, I have one novel in edits, one episodic short story I'm drafting, and a full-length play that's in early development stages.

Hector Resendez - Trade School Secrets
My neighbor spent about $80k on his son’s college finance degree. His son graduated, filled out 105 applications, and couldn’t land a finance job. Right now, he’s managing a Jimmy John’s while he “waits for a break.” Then my neighbor said, “I’m going to introduce him to some of my friends so he can get an entry-level role.” And it hit me. If the outcome is still who you know, not what you studied… what exactly did the $80k buy?
