This is absolutely MASSIVE. Manipulation in the crypto is finally ending. Ten foreign nationals have been charged by the US Justice Department for manipulating the crypto market. These ten executives and employees are from four different crypto “market makers”: Gotbit, Vortex, Antier, and Contrarian. The indictments allege these people conspired to inflate the trading volume and price of tokens and profited through the sale of the cryptocurrencies at inflated prices to unwitting investors. These so-called pump-and-dump schemes caused losses to investors in the United States and elsewhere. Three of the accused, including two CEOs, were recently arrested and extradited from Singapore to the United States. To make it simple: - These guys pump the price with fake volume - Then trap retail investors at higher prices - Then dump on them - Rinse and repeat These market makers are the reason why crypto has been dumping nonstop for months. They do a crazy amount of paper trading to suppress the price and profit from it.

@CatfishFishy @nicucrypto Hmm similar things could be said, for example, about LINK and its reserve. It looks good but it raises more questions than answers.

1. That's just a chart of varying levels of inflation. Supply is higher on 2/6/2026 than on 01/01/2025. 2. There is no information about how tokens come into posession of the entities doing onchain actions. I can give out free tokens to users to pay for things on chain and then burn them as they do so; that doesn't mean they needed to buy the tokens to do those things. Be cautious of praising this chart as "good tokenomics" when it's entirely inconclusive about anything other than the supply is inflating every single day.

If you find yourself unseen, take heart. You are not forgotten but you are being refined. The hidden places are holy ground. The wilderness is not the end of ministry; it is where real ministry begins. God is not punishing you by isolating you; He is preparing you to depend on nothing and no one but Him. So let us not despise the lonely road. It is there that faith is purified, motives are tested, and grace becomes more than a word - it becomes breath. “For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:10).

@nicucrypto It’s more about regulations than SmartCon. Team won’t hype the token and potentially slow the progress. People need to understand that this takes time. Governments and institutions move slowly.
