It has been devastating, yesterday was heavy in terms of accounts from around the world coming guns blazing on UAE and Pakistan ties. Both the governments have shown discernment towards each other's stance concerning ceasefire. But some negative forces are using this opportunity to spread their rotten narratives. What clearly gets missing by these naysayers is that, Pakistan and Emirates share much deeper bond compared to their superficial statements.

UAE has no issue with peace or ceasefire. Problem is, Iran has burnt all the bridges of trust between the two nations. And this did not start one month ago. The seeds had been sowed since the time Iran started to export its own Islamic Revolution. Like any other sovereign nation, UAE also has the right to defend its interest.

سعودی کراون پرنس محمد بن سلمان نے گوادر میں 12 ارب ڈالرز کی لاگت سے آئل ریفائنری لگانے کا پاکستان آ کر MOU سائن کیا تھا۔ اگر وہ گوادر میں ریفائنری لگی ہوتی اور اس کی سٹوریج میں تیل پڑا تو آبنائے ہرمز بند ہونے کے باوجود جنگ کے دوران بھی سعودی تیل بکتا رہتا اور ایران ہماری طرف"منہ"بھی نہیں کر سکتا تھا۔ وقت آ گیا ہے کہ چین،سعودی عرب اور پاکستان ملکر گوادر کو خطے میں"توانائی"کا حب بنائیں کیونکہ یہ آبنائے ہرمز سے بہت دور ہے۔۔یہاں سٹاک پڑا ہو تو چین بھی آسانی سے خرید سکتا ہے اور دنیا میں کسی بھی طرف توانائی کی ترسیل آسانی سے ہو سکتی ہے۔(یہاں لیبر بھی سستی ہے) 4 لاکھ یومیہ آئل ریفائننگ کپیسٹی کا سعودی منصوبہ "انٹیگریٹڈ ریفائنری پیٹرو کیمیکل کمپلیکس"ہونا تھا، جس کا مطلب تھا کہ یہاں صرف تیل صاف نہیں کیا جاتا بلکہ پیٹرو کیمیکل مصنوعات بھی تیار کی جانی تھیں۔کئی ملین بیرل آئل مصنوعات سٹاک ہوتیں۔ اور پھر 2 ارب ڈالرز کی پائپ لائن سے اس کو پاکستان کے کونے کونے میں پہنچانا تھا۔ چین بھی اس پائپ لائن میں شامل ہو کر اس پائپ لائن کو چینی صوبے سنکیانگ تک لیکر جانا چاہتا تھا۔ سعودی عرب کو وہ منصوبہ اب فورا شروع کرنا چاہیے۔ (اسد آر چوہدری)
