Flash News: Update on SET Recruitment process deferment: Dear Friends Contrary to the Promise of deferring the whole SET Recruitment process, #BSNL management has only deferred the exam. This is not acceptable to #AIGETOA and accordingly we shall be taking this with management. As informed earlier, all associations have agreed to serve a joint notice by the end of this week. Accordingly AIGETOA shall be taking its next course of action. Key Demands & Highlights: 1️⃣ Immediate Scrapping: We strongly protest the notification dated 29.01.2026 and demand the total scrapping of the SET Recruitment process. 2️⃣ Stop Discrimination: Management cannot use the "DoT Model" for recruitment while citing the "DPE Model/Affordability" to deny benefits to internal employees. 3️⃣ Internal Talent First: BSNL has highly qualified executives/non-executives who deserve promotion.
