@shamac12 I bought them pre-prepared in Furlong’s, and only had to cook them. I don’t photograph food I haven’t made from scratch (well, sometimes fish and chips!). 🙂

My handwriting is getting a little better - I must be equivalent to an eight-year-old now… 😂 Seriously, it takes forever, and I still have a huge problem placing the dots over the Is, but it’s all about practice and perseverance, I suppose. 🤞

@Killybegsgirl Oil delivered this morning from a small local company, I don't know how they do it but they're consistently cheaper than big brand companies. Ordered online yesterday, delivered today and whoever the driver was had the manners to lock the garden gate after, other flutes don't.

Buying oil this morning for business and house and oil has gone up already. Really do despise this crap.

Mams really are priceless gems 💎 Was watching a movie in bed with mam yesterday & I fell fast asleep. When I woke she had refreshed all my flowers, cleaned my room and had been to dunnes to buy me another new pyjamas, fluffy socks & suckie sweets 🥹🥹🥹💖

@Killybegsgirl I may have had this just after Christmas, or 'flu, don't really know. Every orifice used, every limb ached. I stayed away from himself, much as possible. It's s only us & dog, no kids to worry about. I missed the weekly shopping for 2wks & the girl in Tesco was asking about me🤣

When this was in our house. I was advised to keep anyone away from the public for 72 hours after the last time they vomited. I was looking after the house and I made sure we didn’t give it to anyone else. It’s the only way to not pass this on.

@MaiaDunphy I know it's not the same but 1½ year ago Mam finally had her knee replaced. Basically gaslighted by a consultant for ages, gave her injections fortnightly to no effect. She was literally crippled, in a wheelchair until a different doc found a tumor on her upper spine causing all.

It’s #WorldCancerDay & I’m thinking of everyone who has been affected by the scourge of it (can’t think of a single person who hasn’t). I love reading back over my Mum’s texts; it’s funny how the unimportant ones stand out the most. Post-chemo and Covid jaunt to Lidl! 🤣❤️❤️
