@UseGuidely Definitely. In-context beats a training guide every time. Only thing I'd pair it with is a picklist audit. A lot of "Other" is the real reason not being an option: no urgency, never got the right stakeholder, etc. Spotlight plus the right choices and you'd actually get clean data

Guidely - AI Guidance for ANY Software
This is the whole bet behind Guidely: training shows up in the moment you need it — not before the task (docs nobody reads) or after (a Loom nobody rewatches). Full guide + how we built it → link below.

Guidely - AI Guidance for ANY Software
Every HubSpot org has a field nobody fills out honestly: "Lost Reason." New reps just pick "Other." Forever. RevOps has no idea why deals are actually dying. We fixed it in 30 seconds. Here's what it looks like 📷

@RobbinsTaylor Agreed! The one caveat: a warehouse plus AI makes the answer feel trustworthy whether or not the inputs are. Accuracy has to come before the query layer.

Is your CRM data a mess? 📊 Stop relying on below-average reporting. Use AI as your RevOps data layer! Pipe CRM, dialer, and ad data into one warehouse. Query AI to track "speed to lead" instantly. ⚡ #RevOps #SalesStrategy #AI

@harleyfoote_ Really interesting thread. The hard part is that stated objections diverge from revealed preferences constantly. And a prospect who ghosts will probably still get assigned to a category. Over-analyzing patterns can also bury the actual answer. Sometimes it's just seasonality.

@bouzouina_anes_ Agreed! And a lot of that is upstream of Salesforce entirely, working with sales, marketing, and CS so the dirty data never gets entered. You can automate cleanup, but you can't automate people filling in the field correctly.

Why wasn't open-source the end of SaaS? Pay $15/m for Fathom or self-host an open-source analytics solution. I remember when DigitalOcean launched a "one-click" Fathom setup. Easier than AI. Did it kill us? No. Only a tiny percentage of the world wants to host their own software.

@IntlMktEntry Great post. 2 items: 1. Bad research usually shows you it's bad: low response rate, small n. Synthetic output reads the same whether it's grounded or invented. 2. Verbatims and support transcripts are the most PII-dense data you own, so better have some safeguards.

@roads2rome Great piece. The part I keep chewing on: Heaviest users are usually your best references. Consumption pricing punishes them first. You end up metering the behavior that produces case studies. I don't have an answer, just something I think about.

Before my last call, I already knew what segment the salesperson is responsible for and that their company is actively hiring a revops person. Those data points are very specific to selling my product (Tadata) but I didn’t manually research any of them. They were in my morning meeting briefing in Slack at 7am. Tadata is an AI employee that lives in my Slack. It comes with call prep built in so I don’t have to tell it what good meeting briefs look like. Just “I want meeting prep.” If I want it customized, I simply say how: “research the segment that the person I’m meeting with focuses on, whether the company is hiring for revops/gtm eng,...” That’s it. Call prep, perfectly customized with Tadata.

@kamilrextin Clay was definitely transformative. Some orgs have all their SDRs with an account now, which (IMO) became such a distraction from their primary goal.

Yep, they trained a bunch of marketers. Well, not marketers, I would say the closest people that picked up on this were the revenue ops people because we were all very technical by nature, but we hadn't really gone into depth. And they popularized the whole concept of waterfalls. I think I don't think people really understood what a waterfall is until Clay made it into a table and you could see Multiple providers finding the data.

Clay coined “GTM engineer” in 2023, giving a messy role a real identity. Two years later, roughly 100 GTME job listings go live every month, and BUT (oddly or perhaps by design) 45% of the people holding the title are agencies or consultants. That’s a category win - no one is asking "wtf is the GTME" though if you want to *actually* enable your marketing / sales team - hiring actual engineer not someone who builds workflows is probbaly more leverage (more on that another time)

@YourVibeGuy Great thread. Sales is a good vantage point for this. Mine started with searching our sales Slack for the questions that kept repeating and the docs nobody could find - built a repository with delivery gated by stage. The systems instinct came from the seat, tools came later.

The window is open because the role is new and supply is thin. It won't stay open. In 2 years this is a saturated title like "growth hacker" was. Start this weekend: automate one task you hate. What's stopping you? Genuinely curious.

How to become a GTM engineer in 2026 GTM engineer salaries are hitting $150-200K+. Most job postings can't find qualified people. And the skills are learnable in months, not years. The realistic path from SDR/AE/RevOps to GTM engineer: 🧵

@MonikaDrach Yep. And, those data architecture and process failures aren't loud. Fragmented data doesn't break the dashboard, it quietly biases it, steering on those numbers for years before anyone traces the drift back to the source.

RevOps isn't just about aligning Sales, Marketing, and CS anymore. It's becoming the operating system for revenue growth. AI won't fix fragmented data or broken processes - it will amplify them. Build the foundation first. Great read: apollo.io/insights/reven…

@kamilrextin This definitely tracks. Clay taught me waterfalls, rate limits, when enrichment is worth the call. Now it's easy enough to go straight to the APIs. The education worked. It just didn't route back to the product.

@kevintpayne Good stuff. Have a weekly ownership update in the same shape. Numbers reconcile fine, but the causal read on why they moved lives in my head and there's no check for whether it's right, so it would fail delegation and verification. Never going to run unattended regardless.

All four or it stays a prompt. An email rewriter I saw ran 40 times a month. Passed recurrence and contract. Failed delegation and verification. It stayed a prompt permanently. That was the right answer. High usage is not a promotion argument.

He saved 311 prompts. Used six. Series B RevOps lead showed me his prompt library last quarter. Tagged, categorized, beautiful. 311 saved. Six pulled in 30 days. He built a museum. A prompt library and a skill library are structurally different assets.

@LisaTrublet 2 things happened at once, IMO: buyers got buried in noise so sales needed sharper signal, and the tooling got cheap enough that one person could build it. GTM Engineering sits in that gap. Don't think it replaces RevOps - RevOps owns the system of record, GTME works the edges.

#GTM Engineer… Let’s talk about it. Is it an evolution from RevOps or is it the blend of RevOps, Data Analytics/Science and Growth Hacking. The definition keeps shifting; what’s your take?

@cmyharish 100%. The real killer is teams treating lead scoring as a one-time setup instead of a feedback loop you tune reguarly. Nail the disqualify column first. Everything else compounds from there.

Most teams build one lead score. That's already the first mistake. Here's what actually works 👇 Before the model — the inputs. There are 6 categories your scoring should pull from: 1. Enrichment / firmographic fit Title. Seniority. Company size. Industry. Tech stack.

CRM hygiene is revenue. A $2M pipeline collapsed, not from rates, but a CRM misconfiguration: duplicate leads, a stale field, a disabled alert no one re-enabled. The system didn't miss calls. It just quietly failed everyone using it. #CRM #Fintech #RevOps

@ptlrudra Many, but major one is to obsess over validating your emails before you obsess over signals (where most people start). The best-targeted list in the world means nothing if a quarter of them bounce and it nukes your sender reputation.

Aidan Collins | Scaling B2B Offers on LinkedIn & X
Almost EVERY B2B founder I talk to has the same problem on LinkedIn... They post 5-10x a week... Put hours and hours of effort into the platform... Yet they book zero calls. Meanwhile some guy with 2,000 followers posts ONE lead magnet giveaway and gets 200+ comments and a full pipeline. The difference is WHAT you give away. Most people guess. They slap together a generic PDF, post it, get 4 likes, and assume lead magnets don't work. They do work. You're just giving away the wrong thing to the wrong audience. So... i'm fixing that for you guys. I spent 6 months saving EVERY viral lead magnet post I came across. 166 of them across 8 niches... → CRO → Email marketing → Google Ads → Facebook Ads → SEO → AI → LinkedIn/Twitter → Cold email --> Filter by category. --> Click straight through to the original post. Every single one of these blew up giving away a free resource. If you run a b2b offer and need lead magnet ideas to get more qualified traffic through socials... This is it. Comment "MAGNETS" and I'll send you the full database (MUST BE CONNECTED)

Most GTM teams ignore Reddit completely. That's exactly why it works. I spent weeks building a full Reddit GTM system - from finding the right subreddits to automating lead scoring in HubSpot. Here's the short version of what's inside: (Step-by-step playbook + Zapier automation + AI lead scoring system) Get access below Comment "REDDIT" and I'll send you access This system isn't advice - it's an execution playbook: → How to find and validate subreddits with 50,000+ members where your buyers actually hang out → How to build karma the right way so your comments rank higher and reach more people → The Sandwich Formula for mentioning your product without getting downvoted into oblivion → How to set up F5 Bot keyword alerts so you respond to buyer intent posts within minutes → A full Zapier + HubSpot + GPT-4 automation that classifies, enriches, scores, and routes every Reddit lead automatically We've run this with GTM teams doing outbound, inbound, and everything in between. Pain points: no Reddit presence, no organic pipeline, no system for capturing demand. After running the system: demo requests coming in minutes after commenting on a post. Reddit GTM still works - but only if it's concrete: Subreddit validation - comment strategy - lead capture automation Want access? 1/ Like this tweet 2/ Reply "REDDIT" and I'll send you the full system
