@liljamesjohn @shadcn Mapping the shadcn CSS vars to color tokens makes a lot of sense here. I built styleglide.ai/themes to help automate this. You can generate your own Tailwind compatible color system from a few brand colors.

🔥 One thing I *wish* @shadcn did differently... 🎨 The CSS variables (`--primary`, `--secondary`, etc.) don’t come as Tailwind’s color tokens out of the box. Why does this matter? Because working directly with Tailwind’s color system makes it way easier to: * Extend themes * Stay consistent * Leverage Tailwind easier Until then, I end up mapping them manually just to keep things clean. Anyone else doing the same?

amazing! just gave it a try in a normal vite + react setup, but i saw it using some clipboard stuff, so i couldn't even login to my app properly since it was catching some of the hotkeys? not sure i had to copy paste my password, and when i logged in and clicked styleglide, it would always throw me back to my auth screen, is it supposed to work outside nextjs?
