Happy 100th birthday, President Carter! You continue to be an inspiration for millions of Habitat for Humanity volunteers and supporters around the world.

Mothering is not something that can be mastered. It’s too relentless. Even in our brightest, most exemplary moments, we are one sass mouth away from nearly losing it. Lol. But I will tell you this. If it means the world to you that you’re a good mom, if you care to the depths of your soul, if you tell them and show them every day that you love them and if they know you are always on their team, you, Darling, are a good mom. Today’s not the day to think about all you wish you’d done better. Just take a day, Woman. Just take a day. Happy Mother’s Day, hard-working, hard loving mom. You earned a fine meal and I hope you get it.

You just want to give your kids a chance to play in well run competitive baseball tournaments. You pay a tournament fee on top of a daily gate fee just to watch them play. On the off chance your child turns this into a career and has any marketing value they also retain the right to make money off your child in perpetuity at zero cost to them. Glad this is finally getting the attention it deserves. It should be illegal.
