@CCruzFight dignity over victory. issue with online "competition" is most winning are cheating. they believe you have to cheat to win. true losers.

@Giddybrommetje @Rfoghorn145547 @qtfabio same experience. had 2 maps cycling in first person tab for a year+, as long as i did a update every week i was in it till impressions were met, it was clearly broken though cause nothing new was rotating in and the same horror maps for a year took over 90% of it.

@Rfoghorn145547 @qtfabio @shawkab I was hitting first person each update so it was pretty obvious when it had nowhere to go now but it was allready pretty crowded with horror to that all do pretty well with sophication score i dont see those between updated to at the moment

Fortnite Sponsored Row data is interesting to watch right now.
According to @Turbo1v1, using data from @FortniteDotGG’s Sponsored Row timeline:
- One creator accounted for 10.7% of Sponsored Row ad space over the last 7 days.
- 23 creators accounted for 72% of the entire row.

built this fortnite map 1 year ago. poured 1 month into it. custom models. unique mechanics. made $300 total.
here's the mistake.
i was building what i liked. what kids want is completely different. those two worlds almost never overlap.
look at roblox. brainrot games look like absolute trash. ugly graphics. no polish. one core loop. they hit 100k ccu and print money every day. kids don't cares how it looks. they care that the loop hits.
i had it backwards. i thought more features = more playtime. wrong. one good feature can pull 1 hour average session length. 15 mechanics just adds complexity. the kid gets confused and leave.
stop trying to make your map look perfect. stop polishing it forever. stop adding 100 new mechanics. none of that is what kids click for. none of it is what keeps them playing.
build the loop first. ignore everything else until that prints. the kid who wants to feel strong fast. the kid who wants to flex on his friends. the kid who wants a quick dopamine hit before homework. they don't care about custom models. they care about feeling something specific, fast. that's the whole game.
every map i've built since has been for the kid. now i manage millions in maps and work with celebrities.
failure is part of the path.

@robertrioux Thanks for all of your work. My advice to all coders is: do great work using the best tools available and ignore the haters and trolls.

@chrisp_games Unfortunately, the project size limitations mean it is impossible to create anything 3D on that kind of scale. Everything would also need to be spawned in due to island memory limitations.
