I don't even really think it's the game's fault. Kragg was designed a decade ago. Every game like this somehow needs a silly SSJ2 Fox simulacra to dangle in front of Melee players as if to say "Look! Now you can be good at TWO games!" How were they supposed to know this game would be the de-facto flag-bearer for comp plat fighters in the modern age? I don't think anyone in their right mind would have designed this today. But all these characters were made 15 years ago, when creative and cool movesets were the differentiator, and now I face a playerbase of very creative downholders mashing their very creative reversals. It's my problem now

People clown on this, but I do think control decks violate one of the most important core game design principles: A game should end when someone has won.
