Not much to say. I am a mother of two with a beautiful guide dog and a silly cat!

@mattdagley We went to one of the museums. I forgot what it’s called. There’s a rock in the museum that has some Viking edges in it that proves Vikings made their way to Yarmouth.
English

@shelbear80 So you didn't go to the museums? Maud Lewis is closer to Digby. I've been there before.
English

@mattdagley There’s also a firefighter museum, which we haven’t gone to and another museum, which we did go to another time we were there. We also checked out the maud Lewisstuff which isn’t right in Yarmouth, but super interesting.

@mattdagley Walked around Cape Fortune lighthouse, went to Rutter‘s, which is our favourite restaurant, went to the farmers market, which is also our favourite and wandered around the mall as well as checking out the cathedral for Sunday morning mass

@mattdagley Does this mean we can’t use the Mac pass on the tool on the way to New Brunswick anymore? I know people from New Brunswick that have a Mac pass and use it when they come to Halifax.

@mattdagley Yeah, kids go back on Thursday here in Nova Scotia
English

@enduringjoy @AirCanada My kids are supposed to fly to Ontario on Monday to see their grandparents and their dad would rebook if he knew he was going to get a refund but hasn’t even gotten a cancellation yet
English

Imagine booking a Saturday flight with @AirCanada… and then finding out there’s a planned strike, but they won’t cancel, won’t confirm, and won’t communicate. Passengers are just left hanging. This isn’t customer service — it’s customer neglect. #AirCanadaStrike #TravelNightmare

@mattdagley I will eat cows ice cream in Halifax, but it seems more special to eat it on PEI same with boom burger
English

@truckdriverpleb I live in Nova Scotia and my immediate thought when I heard about the hiking band was not that walking will cause fires, but that people who are smoking and drop their cigarette butts in the woods will cause fires. There are a lot of stupid people out there.

@danimac212 @mark_slapinski Live here in Nova Scotia as well and the grass is very crunchy and dry so I think what is happening is for the best for now
English

@mark_slapinski I’m a conservative I don’t agree with the Covid lockdowns this might be to far but being here in NS I can say it’s a disaster waiting to happen our woods are matchsticks from Fiona. The grass in my yard is crunchy in 40 years I’ve never seen it this dry

@JoanneLynnNS @mattdagley When my daughter and I were in Vegas a couple weeks ago, every straw was plastic and it was so great!
English

@mattdagley In working with folks with disabilities with swallowing difficulties or limited hand/arm movement these straws are often the only way they can consume liquids. Paper straws fall apart making a choking hazard. I love when I see these straws.
