When a bangalorean and mangalorean discuss about language imposition. Hindi Imposition? Na! We're still processing Kannada! Filtered coffee? Please, I’ll take my neer dosa any day—it's the only thing that doesn’t get filtered out! #tulupriorities #SaveTulu #tuluvites

Funny how those who block replies crying about lack of 'coruage'. Funny how it's only 'civil' when people are nodding along to your glory story. The second someone disagrees, it's 'abuse' and block button. That's not a fragile ego at all, right?

You're sitting in your comfortable AC railway bungalow defending the same system you cleared decades ago, while current aspirants are getting crushed by it. But sure, keep telling them they just lack responsibility. Thats too much fragile ego.

You flexed your 1990s struggle, gave everyone lectures on 'personal responsibility', and the moment people pointed out that competition, resources, population, and stakes have completely changed, you immediately pulled the 'apples and oranges' card and started blocking.

@Asmeena76 @Ananth_IRAS @rishilectual Spoon feeding? Aaj ke aspirants YT pe 50 different teachers ka contradictory gyan sunte hain, 10 lakh log ek saath compete karte hain, Prelims mein 0.5-1% selection ratio, aur aap bol rahe ho 'AC room hai toh aasan ho gaya'? Hum aapki tarah chote taalab me machli nahi pakad rahe.

Yesterday wasn't a very good day, not because I got trolled for this innocuous post of mine, but also because I had to block a large number of handles as they were getting personal, making wild allegations and were abusive. But @rishilectual brilliantly put my post in perspective. And hence I have copied his post - "Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but saying "the paper was easier back then" is technically incorrect. Every generation faces its own distinct challenges. Those who prepared decades ago had no easy access to the internet or study resources. A trip to Delhi was almost mandatory for serious UPSC preparation. So while the questions from that era may appear straightforward in hindsight, having that level of knowledge without modern resources was a genuine challenge in itself. Today's generation has cheap, abundant access to courses, videos, and study material. But that abundance has created its own problem, filtering signal from noise. And because quality resources are now accessible across economic backgrounds, the competitive pool has widened significantly. More aspirants can handle straightforward questions, so examiners are forced to raise the difficulty to maintain the standard of selection. The 2024 paper was an outlier, and if past behaviour is any indication, UPSC will course-correct next year just as it did after the 2023 paper. Hopefully, they bring more rationality to the process going forward. But comparing UPSC papers across decades is comparing apples and oranges. It wasn't easy for Ananth Sir back then, and it isn't easy for this year's rankers either. Every generation deserves to be judged on its own terms." I rest my case. #UPSCPrelims
Ananth Rupanagudi@Ananth_IRAS

I have appeared for the UPSC Civil Services exam four times from 1993 to 1996 and was successful in the third and fourth attempts, though I passed the Prelims all the four times. The only lesson I learnt from the exam is that unless you take responsibility for your failures, you will never move ahead and it will break your perseverance. It's easy to blame the UPSC, the coaching centres or just luck but it's difficult to blame oneself. In these four attempts, yes, there were questions which were a break from the regular pattern and came as surprises. But one has to always learn from the failures and move ahead. The objective of any competitive exam of this type is eliminate candidates who don't make the mark rather than enabling them to clear the mark. #Upscgspaper #UPSCPrelims

@Ananth_IRAS @rishilectual You cleared it in 90s when the population was smaller, competition was literally 1/10th, and cutoff probably meant noth. Now with lakhs fighting for same seats, you're out here giving gyan like you invented perseverance. Congrats on blocking people who hurt your fragile 90s ego.

The CPI(M)-Kerala should first quit the CPI(M), which is headquartered in Delhi, and launch a full-fledged state-based political party called the CPK (Communist Party of Kerala) by inviting the CPI-Kerala to quit the CPI, which is headquartered in Delhi, and merge with the CPK. NOTE: “Communism with Kerala Characteristics” should be the ideology of the Communist Party of Kerala (CPK), adhering to:👇🏻 1) Economic Pragmatism 2) Export-Oriented High-End MSMEs 3) Strategic Capital Investment by the State Government 4) Revival of Kerala as the Maritime Trade Capital of South Asia 5) Kerala Spatial-Structural Order

Students paying the price again. CBSE's hurried OSM rollout, surprise score drops, and chaos forcing re-evaluations. Add NEET leaks & poorly tested language mandates, those at the helm keep experimenting with our education system while youth bear the brunt.

Manoj Narvane would be good teaching English literature or Philosophy at Fergusson College or Elphinstone. He did not deserve to be in Army and much less be a COAS. What kind of screening and vetting does the institution has that he went on to rise to top position.

NOTE 2: The fundamental responsibility of an Indian patriot is to safeguard the unity and integrity of the different linguistic civilizations of India.

@VarierAravind You're not a language activist. You're an opportunistic hypocrite playing double standards. Practice the linguistic dignity you selectively preach, or admit your activism dies the moment it exposes your own side. Intellectual dishonesty at its finest. Shame.

Firstly, speak in Malayalam during public interactions rather than Kannada if you plan to build your political career in Kerala. Secondly, I respect Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) because they would surely call out Malayali politicians in Karnataka who try to speak in Malayalam rather than Kannada during public interactions. Thirdly, I find it absurd to see you demand that the UDF implement the free bus scheme when their Chief Minister is yet to be sworn into office on 18 May 2026.
Ashwini M.L@AshwiniML2

As promised in the UDF manifesto under the Indira Guarantee scheme, free travel for women in KSRTC buses was to be implemented today onwards but they failed @blsanthosh @RajeevRC_X
