Today a staffer for @Dallas_Brodie entered my constituency office unannounced and began recording my staff and an innocent constituent without their consent. They walked through my office filming and trying to agitate people for a reaction.

Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim's defence against a potential defamation lawsuit is literally that some guy showed him a photo on their phone and the Mayor believed it, so he repeated it.

A sad component to this story is that reporters were present. Nobody challenged the Mayor on a significant claim. These sessions are designed to create an “illusion of influence” among attendees. The public is not properly served when reporters forgo their primary duty. #vanpoli
