So I'm pro vax but I became bedbound with #pots after my first covid vax. I don't like to speak out about this in public because I'm afraid that I'll attract the antivaxxers or worse that I'll be seen as one myself. But I think we should speak out more about our cases. 1/

@NeleHelena I developed POTS this year, too. My best guess is the vaccine precipitated it.

@Valery56645354 I'm really sorry to hear that. In very rare cases, Shipt will reverse deactivation. I recommend reaching out to Gig Workers Collective.

How can a worker be both essential and unworthy of a living wage?

Here is a list of companies that contract with Shipt and provide customers with no electronic tipping option. These companies are complicit in the exploitation of Shipt workers: Best Buy Bed, Bath & Beyond CVS Office Max/Depot GNC Shop Rite Meijer Harris Teeter Smart N Final

Often there is no mileage maximum. In my metro, its not rare to see deliveries that are 30-40 minutes (one way) from the store. I'd guess the average distance is 25 minutes. Some stores limit the amount of orders that Shipt workers can pick up at a given time.

@Shipt, this is unacceptable and appalling. Do better.

The only mechanism for workers to address these issues is by emailing a single address. These messages are mostly going unanswered. The few receiving replies have gotten canned responses. Judging by past behavior, it may be days or weeks before Shipt gives any response.
