#MedTwitter, did you know that the trimester system we use for pregnancies was not created by a doctor, but by a lawyer? Did you know the term “viability” (when related to pregnancies) was not created by a doctor, but by a lawyer?

Officially submitted my #MIGS fellowship application! 🙌🏼 wouldn’t have made it this far if it weren’t for my amazing co-residents, supportive family, and inspiring mentors 🥰😍 (couldn’t fit all the incredible humans who have helped me along the way into 3 photos) #aagl #fmigs

Studying for my ob/gyn shelf tomorrow - my last day of clerkships in 2022! & per usual, made a study guide of things learned over the past 6 weeks. I enjoyed ob/gyn - it combined some of my passions (women's health, longitudinal pt care, surgery). Looking forward to the holidays!

“We found that maternal death rates were 62 percent higher in 2020 in abortion-restriction states than in abortion-access states (28.8 vs. 17.8 per 100,000 births).” And abortion-restricting states had higher rates of perinatal, neonatal, and first-year-of-life deaths.
