@thealfordplea @nienna121 If you are smart you can answer that question without currently being employed. Employment verification has usually been to just reference check and you don't provide your "current" employer because you don't esnt them to know you sre looking for greener pastures.

If I've been unemployed for the last 3 years while being a SAHM, do I need to put that on my resume or can I just...put my last actual employment?

@shoe92O @nienna121 Companies want to know that if they put 6-12 months of effort into training you, that you’re going to stick around for at least a few years. Understanding where you’ve been and why you’re applying is the only thing they have to go off of.

@mattforney If people can do or even half-ass the jobs with fake degrees then we shouldn't need degrees for these jobs. A 16 year old from the middle of Nebraska could do these jobs after a couple months of training.

Indians: so high-skilled they buy fake degrees in medicine and engineering. BTW, I have some experience in this because I used to work for one of these essay plagiarism mills. The majority of our customers were traditionally foreigners, primarily Chinese, Indians, Arabs, and Africans. While clients were traditionally women, the sheer number of Indians that invaded Canada, the U.S. etc. in recent years actually tipped the gender balance 50/50 (or at least it did before I quit, because I hated dealing with them). Professors know about the epic levels of plagiarism that these people do; how can they not, when some Ramesh who can barely speaks English turns in perfect work? They say nothing because the students can just accuse them of racism and the university would lose their tuition money if the cheaters were expelled. You can't trust people from these countries because they think buying a college degree is acceptable behavior. They're not interested in learning, fair play, ethics: they just want to get ahead by any means necessary and they don't care if they scam you in the process. DEI: Deport Every Indian.

I told a friend that most L.A. girls are glorified escorts. Not in the literal sense but rather that they are optimizing to seek out the highest status activities & experiences. Men are conduits by which they can achieve that. He was skeptical so I told him to do an experiment. Pick a girl who he went out with but ghosted him when he texted after the date. No HR text, no follow up, nothing. Total radio silence from her. At least 3 months must have transpired. Next, send her a text that he’s going to a private all expenses paid party at Nobu Malibu (very fancy sushi restaurant) and that he wants her to come along. I said with 95% certainty that she would respond. Maybe she won’t remember him and will ask who he is but at a minimum she will be curious and text back, despite the ghosting. Sure enough, I was right.

I think the interest in goth girls recently is from men finding attraction in openly feminine women who care about how they look and dress. It has less to do with the aesthetic, and more that they like to wear dresses, doll themselves up, and look feminine. Just an observation.

When all of the baby boomers die, and we are approaching boomer death peak velocity, the amount of houses that will hit the market will crash it, making that house worthless anyway. So a smart boomer would be selling now, downsizing, and leaving money to his descendants.
