@_Stocko_ @_wallfacer @grok can you remove the firearms from this image and keep everything else as is?
English

@GregTomaselli @IamKyros69 Used a dev pack on an exidy sorcerer to write a string saver so that you effectively saved a snapshot of an application to cassette.
English

@IamKyros69 Back then you basically had to mail-order a $400 manual or type in 10 pages of machine code from a magazine just to get ‘Hello World’ on screen 😂
What’s the wildest thing you ever typed in by hand that actually worked?

@George_Roberts @LG_Australia They are the worst. Took months to get a refund on a doa cooktop.
English

After ongoing problems getting resolution with @LG_Australia over a dud vacuum cleaner that didn’t work from day 1, they called me back and said the line was being recorded. I said “OK, can I please record it too?” I was told I couldn’t for “privacy reasons” then they cut me off!

@stedmanhalliday What works for me is a footstool under the desk. Half the day my legs are on it. Forces my upper body and head back in the chair. Bit like sitting in a sports car where you legs are relatively high.

@jommy_tee More like blatant corruption. Paid off by the gambling lobby. Such a disappointing Labor government.

‘A total cop out’ if Albanese government refuses blanket ban on gambling ads, Pocock says theguardian.com/australia-news…

@flaviocopes When you spend most of your time on maintenance and updates as some of us do, you really appreciate the truth of this.

@StickyD710 @SteveDeaceShow How is that contradictory?
Democrats know they can beat Trump.
Democrats can't steal the election.
That means they'll win by the numbers.

@madilana @brownecfm no if more than 6 months
if you've had your vac in feb and are under 65 you're not allowed to access it
I spent a morning with 2 different health depts

English

@newsycombinator Absolutely. When doing maintenance on existing codebases abstraction, can create obscurity and slow you down.

@CynicalPublius @MaxBoot The earlier firearms 'roundup' made it much easier for the Australian government to later (just last year) 'round up' COVID vaccine refusers, and to keep them confined

Surprisingly enough, the response to mass shootings in other countries isn’t limited to “thoughts and prayers.” washingtonpost.com/world/2021/03/…

This issue alone will loose the election for them. If you don't get that, you're in denial - and need to spend more time talking to women

@jimdoherty09 @DrEricDing One notable victim of this treatment the wonderful Joseph Schmidt.
English

@DrEricDing Not to mention the Swiss’ brutal treatment of Allied internees versus their kid gloves for Nazis. There’s no doubt who they wanted to win
English

Ironic—Swiss National Bank🏦 offers to bailout Credit Suisse bank… but not compensate WW2 victims when it held $8Bil in Hitler’s Nazi gold, half looted! ➡️Who else thinks victims of Nazi theft should be paid reparations from Swiss🇨🇭National Bank first?

@AmyRemeikis I've got two triples in mine so I go
"blah-blah-blah, triple-blah, triple-blah, blah"
Live with it. Most people get it.
English

@AmyRemeikis Not to mention the problem of "promiscuous access to education". Perish the thought that the proletariat be educated. This bloke belongs in the 18th century.
English

This isn’t even an original toxic take. It’s one Fox News pundits started immediately after the mid-term results began becoming clear
Catherine Cusack@katieqs
The Liberals Party continues to struggle with “disturbing trends” like young unmarried women having their own thoughts and the “dubious fortune” of University education. The Menzies Institute is publicly funded. So you are all paying for this 16th century commentary
