I have witnessed the continued onslaught of violence perpetrated against ICE officers across our country. The Department of Justice will not stand idly by in the face of such lawlessness. At my direction, I am deploying DOJ agents to ICE facilities—and wherever ICE comes under siege—to safeguard federal agents, protect federal property, and immediately arrest all individuals engaged in any federal crime. Pursuant to President Trump’s recent executive action, I am also instructing the Joint Terrorism Task Forces across the country to disrupt and investigate all entities and individuals engaged in acts of domestic terrorism, including the repeated acts of violence and obstruction against federal agents. The Department of Justice will seek the most serious available charges against all participants in these criminal mobs, including conspiracy offenses, assault offenses, civil disorder offenses, and terrorism offenses. While these never-ending attacks are designed to break our will, they only strengthen our resolve to complete the work begun. To that end, I have directed the FBI, DEA, ATF, and USMS to accelerate our efforts alongside the Department of Homeland Security to locate, apprehend, detain, prosecute, and remove all illegal aliens present in our country. The rule of law will prevail.

Another update from your @FBI on our efforts to defend the homeland and protect the American people.   Today, State Department employee Michael Charles Schena was sentenced to 48 months in prison for attempting to sell out his country. He was paid to use a covert communication device to take pictures of CLASSIFIED documents containing national defense information and then send them to individuals he believed worked for the Chinese government. Schena’s actions directly undermined U.S. national security and put Americans at risk.    No amount of money is worth betraying your country, and the FBI will do EVERYTHING in our power to bring traitors like Schena to justice. I’d like to thank @FBIWFO, @FBIRichmond, DOJ’s Office of Enforcement Operations, and DOS’ Diplomatic Security Service’s Office of Counterintelligence for their great work safeguarding our country’s most sensitive information.   To all the current and past U.S. government clearance holders out there, the threat is REAL. Please remain vigilant against China’s aggressive attempts to target you and report all suspicious contacts to the FBI. God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

I’m hearing that we can’t put Obama in handcuffs because that might cause civil unrest. But wait! Democrats didn’t hesitate to drop 90+ charges on Trump. They were ready to lock him up for life, and deal with the ensuing civil unrest. Besides, “No one is above the law.”
