Recent project I worked on. I had so much fun working on this project. I recreated this animation. The idea already existed, I just wanted to recreate it to test my motion graphics skills and to be honest I learned a lot of new things. I asked so many questions while making the animation and figured out almost all of them on my own. I also joined a Discord server related to DaVinci Resolve and got a few of my answers there. I'm really happy with how this animation turned out. Let me know your thoughts on it. I also know Fusion much more now than I used to, so keep practicing everyone. Most creators think better videos need better cameras. Not true. Better videos need better editing. Editing: • removes boring moments • controls pacing • adds emotion with timing + music • turns clips into story Filming captures footage. Editing creates experience 🎬

Why Dr. Insanity's videos hit 2M+ while channels with better footage stay at 50K Channel's not the content?! It's 3 editing decisions most channels never make 🧵 1/ He never starts with a title card or a face. He starts with the most intense moment then pulls back. Most channels do the opposite and lose 30% of viewers in the first 20 seconds. 2/ Every cut has a sound hit. Every reveal has a riser. The audio is doing 50% of the emotional work most editors treat it as an afterthought. 3/ Case-to-case bridges. Compilations die at transitions. He uses 3-second reset cards that re-hook the viewer before the next clip. Result: 60%+ retention on 30-min videos. If your true crime or bodycam channel wants to apply this.. DM me.

I wasn't just throwing things at the timeline... I was intentionally planning the structure, organizing project files, and sourcing every asset needed for the current edit. Mapping out how the visuals hit so the animation phase is easier. After the work was handled, I finally headed back to the gym. It's been a two-month break because of my wrist, so I'm taking it slow and steady, but it feels good to have that physical discipline back in the mix.
