@EndzonePanthers Killed it. Dont look at draft grades. 3 years from now is what matters

Selections:
#129 Will Lee III - CB
#144 Sam Hecht - C
#151 Zakee Wheatley - S
#227 Jackson Kuwatch - LB
Will Lee III - CB (Texas A&M)
In all honesty, I wasn’t too familiar with Lee, However, I still believe this is a great pick. His 6’1 build and 42 inch vertical are standout stats for me. His collegiate career saw him compile 134 tackles, 4 INT, 24 passes defended and 1 TD. These stats aren’t ground breaking but with the measurements taken into consideration I believe Lee can be a very effective boundary corner with his height and impressive vertical score. Sitting behind Mike Jack for a year will also be a great opportunity.
Sam Hecht - C (Kansas State)
We really needed a C and Sam Hecht was my #2 C on the board. To get him at 144 is exceptional and in my mind a tremendous pick. In 769 snaps, Hecht allowed 0 sacks and in 2025 scored an overall PFF grade of 80.5 (4th among C) and a run blocking grade of 77.7 (10th among C). These stats are immense and in my opinion Hecht has every chance to be starter come September.
Zakee Wheatley - S (Penn State)
Like Hecht, Wheatley was someone I liked the look of and I am delighted we picked him up. Wheatley doesn’t have any mind blowing measurements but at 6’3 I see him being a very good FS option. In 5 years at Penn State he amassed 222 TKL, 6 PD, 6 INT, 2 FF and 1 Sack. These stats suggest that Wheatley can play in either safety spot but will succeed the most as a FS. I like this pick and think he will have a great opportunity to be on the field a lot next season.
Jackson Kuwatch - LB ( Miami OH)
Kuwatch, is another one I had very little knowledge about. In 3 years with Miami OH, he had 123 TKL, 1 PD and 5 sack (all of which in 2025). Kuwatch took a major leap in 2025 and has shown consistent growth. The sack stats are very impressive and at 6’4 232 lbs and 4.64 40 yard I am very intrigued about this prospect. He fills a need and offers competition in one of the weaker part of the team. I like this pick.
Thoughts on day 3? 🤔

@ajdillon7 Be sure to hit up Kung Fu noodles in birkdale. Great sushi, the Lemon Drop roll is their top one. Also at Birkdale is Eez, Barnes Taco, and a fun brewery. Enjoy the town!

Listen, @ajdillon7, you and me need to do an interview. And Panther fans, if that did happen, what would you want asked?

Brandt Tilis was in the front office of the teams who drafted the first RBs in 2020 and 2024
Both have not gone well (so far)

@Sam_Vecenie If you can't win at Vandy, it sure as hell won't happen at UNC.
English

I do genuinely believe Jerry Stackhouse should get another shot somewhere. I thought he was a pretty excellent X’s and O’s offensive coach at Vandy and just didn’t have resources to get players mostly.
But yeah, can’t do this one at UNC. Too many more proven options.

From Dean Smith to Steve Kerr, Jerry Stackhouse has built a coaching resume that’s hard to ignore. With Hubert Davis out at UNC, the Warriors assistant is surfacing as a top name to return home to Chapel Hill. 🔗Full breakdown: scoopb.com/2026/03/jerry-… Is it time for Stack to lead the Heels?
