On AA1438 (DFW–BOS, 6/24/25) I couldn’t use my paid seat due to a neighbor spilling into mine. AA admits the issue, but offered only 5K miles (~$75). My ticket cost far more, and I was denied the product I bought. @AmericanAir @USDOT – is this fair to passengers?

What I asked from @AmericanAir is simple: fair compensation equal to the seat I paid for but didn’t receive — a travel voucher, not a token 5,000 miles. That’s the minimum any airline should do when they fail to deliver.
