I thought Threads would be the best alternative to Twitter (I still prefer the original name). But I think Bluesky will be better, especially for news. Bluesky has some great tools, such as starter packs, to find accounts to follow. You can find me at arend.bsky.social

I know this reveals a lot about me, and not in a good way, but I've often thought that being a missionary in a closed country, with pseudonym etc. is a huge social sacrifice. You have to be invisible online/publicly. It's a lifelong postponement of recognition. I admire such folk
