The IT guy was acting like a peer. “Ah false alarm” as in there wasn’t a huge problem and it was easy to solve. A court room doesn’t work like that though. It works under STRICT hierarchy and a judge is NOT anyone’s peer. In defense of the judge- you can’t let stuff like that slide in your courtroom if you want to maintain the image of you being in total control of the room. Which is his job.
