@ByClaytonDavis Yes! And directors should also be Best Picture nominees. If Album of/Year Grammys go to performers, producers, songwriters, engineers, etc. (and they can compete in their own categories), why can’t Best Picture recognize producers, directors, screenwriters, editor, and 2 leads?

The International Feature update still misses a key step: Make the directors official nominees.
Before today, the country “wins,” even though director's names are on the statuette. Joachim Trier is NOT an Oscar winner.
And now, the "film" is the nominee, which is kinda weird.

@ATLHeadband I mean, the man won an NL home run title in his second year and people were STILL comparing him to Freddie. No shade on Freeman: he’s a great player and an even better human being; I was gutted when he left. But it’s high time Atlanta gives Matt Olson the reverence he deserves.

@ATLHeadband The stats are great, but one must factor in his stepping into an impossible situation: replacing a beloved, Cooperstown-bound player lost bc of botched contract talks right after winning a rare Atlanta World Series. That alone has cast a shadow over his amazing career.

@CalebWachter @CX316 @theleslieneeson Yes! S3 was the season TNG made multiple changes that made it the beloved classic we know. One of those changes was having Picard do more action, when clearly the original intent was for Riker to play that role.
