After hours talking to @ATT customer service I went to a corporate store, as told, only to hear @ATT customer service tell their own representative he would need to go to his store and talk to himself. My issue did not get resolved but somehow I'm a little less frustrated now.

Naming matters

Adding more unnecessary indirections won't make your code "cleaner".

@steinnes For a "representative device" you'd want a Samsung for most markets. OEM issues/differences still exist although things have improved a lot.

@steinnes Pixel would give you the best DX AFAIK and earlier access to Android 11 and future updates. The 3a is reasonably priced.

I’m playing with a pet project that requires me to develop for #android. I can’t seem to find any “developer reviews” of android devices, but my past experience tells me the #DX varies greatly between models. Is this no longer the case?
