I endorse this message. As I received my cancer diagnosis today I thought that as days go this can’t get worse - how very wrong I was. I will undergo surgery and come out the other side - this however is in complete contrast. The evil, the barbarity, all whilst Israelis, Americans and Europeans actually justify this and Ireland does nothing. Shame on us.

I had the unexpected experience of a 9 hour stay in A&E last night. I was cared for, and reassured, throughout by an exemplary team of professionals. As bad as our Health System is, and it’s shocking, I respect and pay tribute to the stalwarts on the frontline who keep it together, and without those who have come here from across the globe to give service to us, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤️

It's #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek. This will be the 3rd Christmas without my precious eldest son, Brendan Bjørn, who died aged 17 1/2 in May 2022. I don't know if I'll ever be more than a shadow of who I once was. I fought every day of his life to save him. In the end, I couldn't.

Well guess who had their surgery 😉 his team are very happy with how it went, he’s just recovering in ICU for the night for observation and then hopefully down to the ward tomorrow all going well ❤️ little champ so he is. Fun fact, did you know the name Harvey means ‘Ready for battle’ I guess he’s lived up to his name! It was on this day in 2018 that my beautiful son (RIP) finally had his spinal fusion after waiting in pain, often bedridden, on the 'urgent' list from 1 June 2017. There is something terribly wrong with a government that allows such suffering to continue. #scoliosis #BackUs
