hey Christian parents, I have a question: what’s your general opinion of K-Pop Demon Hunters show? My son has been limited to shows like Curious George or Clifford. Bluey for a bit before.. well you know. So he’s never seen an episode but everyone in his pre-k class sings the songs constantly. So now he’s singing them, and from what he sings, it’s just throwaway lyrics- harmless. Is the show the same or is it typical Netflix progressive nonsense? I mean I’ll watch an episode myself to decide, but I’m curious what those who aren’t a year behind think

@JanJekielek Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection was first published in 1859. Think of the advances since then in how we understand the natural world. It's astounding a newer scientific idea hasn't presented itself. Almost as if it has been discouraged.

Most people were taught Darwin’s theory of evolution explains how all life came to be. What if that’s not the full story? Stephen C. Meyer says growing evidence is challenging that idea, and many scientists are now calling for a new theory of evolution. “There’s a huge difference between the idea that natural selection is a real process… and the claim that it has unlimited creative power.” “Many leading evolutionary biologists today are now calling for a new theory of evolution.” “They recognize that the mutation natural selection mechanism has limited creative power.” “It does a nice job of explaining small-scale variation and adaptation.” “But it doesn’t do a good job of explaining… major new body plans or new forms.” @stephencmeyer

@MarcoFoster_ @grahamformaine In 1776, there wasn't even a Maine. The USA didn't have any billionaires. Are the other 49 states wealthier having Maine part of the country? My stupid logic is just as stupid as Platner's.

Graham Platner: “In 1990 there were fewer than 80 billionaires in the US. Today there are over 900. Do you see a state of Maine that is 10x wealthier than 1990? Have our wages gone up 10x? Do we have 10x the schools? 10x the hospitals? No, we have less. The money went somewhere and it wasn’t down here. it was stolen from us in a rigged system”

Stop. You're ruining Chainlink's reputation. Nobody likes a supplier that has an employee behaving so erratically on social media. Have you ever seen a company worth over $1T with an employee behaving like that with competitors? Just stop. Never interfere with an enemy while he’s in the process of destroying himself. You think you're helping, but you're not.

Look guys, it's actually really straightforward, a bunch of people staked their ETH on the Ethereum blockchain to earn yield, except they didn't want their capital to be locked up, so they actually staked with a liquid staking protocol called Lido who provided them a liquid staking receipt token called stETH, except they decided to juice their yield further by depositing their stETH receipt tokens into a restaking protocol called Eigenlayer, except they didn't want to lock up their capital, so they actually restaked with a liquid restaking protocol called KelpDAO who provided them with a liquid restaking receipt token called rsETH, except they decided to juice their yield further by depositing their rsETH tokens into a lending protocol called Aave so that they could open a leveraged looping position that borrows ETH against the rsETH collateral and restakes the ETH into rsETH which is then deposited as collateral, except it turns out rsETH used a cross-chain bridge called LayerZero that was hacked by north koreans causing rsETH to become undercollateralized and now these looping positions are stuck and unprofitable, and everyone is pointing fingers at each other, and also DeFi is a very serious industry

@LucifersTweetz Liberals and atheists know this isn’t the case when it comes to Christianity but they have to make stuff up to make it seem like a bad religion and for people to dislike it. This has never been the case. Both are bad and unacceptable in the eye of the father but forgivable.

Question for psychiatrists. Where in the depression treatment algorithm would you place psychedelics? Is this kind of like cannabis being roughly the 86th best treatment for glaucoma? It has a very mild effect but you would never actually prescribe it because there are so many better options. This is an honest question.

The crazy part is he actually has a product, which unfortunately is "not publicly available and probably never will be." I was really confused about why he never commercialized what he was describing. Turns out, he can't. Magnus can. Rozman can. Dina can. Just not him.
Josh👀@JoshNoLook

Poor Nakamura.😭 Chesscom blocked him from creating a "competitor," but let Magnus build Take Take Take and Rozman build Chessly. Dina even has her Russian School of Chess thing. Looks like chesscom treats him as second-tier. Why does he put up with it?

@KR3Wmatic That is all based on the presumption humans have the knowledge to make those truth claims on the age of the earth. Who’s to say the universe wasn’t created as an aged earth already. How do we know we can actually carbon date billions of years in the past.

The idea that god would wait 13 billion years (universe start) or even 4.5 billion years (earth formation) or even 8 million years (human ancestor identified) or even 300,000 years (modern human identified) before he sent himself down in the guise of his son to be brutally murdered to forgive himself for misdemeanours against himself is too ridiculous to be believed in the 21st century.

Oh and one of the disciples was James, Jesus's literal brother. It says in the Bible multiple times that his family didn't even believe in him and James is one of these wussies hiding in that room. How? I don't know if any of you guys have siblings or not but it's going to take a lot of evidence for me to go to my violent death proclaiming that my brother, my physical brother, is the son of GOD after he has been hung publicly on a tree. That's exactly what James did. How can you explain that?

Easter is the best holiday man 😊 Everyone is like, "He is risen!" and I want to be like, "Yes! He is literally risen." You do realize that, right? It's a historical fact. There's more evidence for the historical resurrection and life of Jesus after death than for pretty much anything in the history of history. If you can't believe in the resurrection of Jesus, the fact that he appeared to 500+ people after he was dead and that his 12 disciples all went to their deaths refusing to deny it, then you can’t believe anything in history! They were so scared and helpless after he died that they hid in a room and then all of a sudden they're willing to go to their violent deaths because they saw him face to face. So yeah, he IS risen. 😅🙏🏻

This is what @HansMokeNiemann had to say about Hikaru Nakamura - "Hikaru, he was completely inactive, only played these weak players. I don't understand - its nothing personal, but what do you expect of your results if you are completely retired? I think it shows that playing 2100s is not the best training - maybe if he would've played the World Cup or the Grand Swiss.." Interview: @ram_abhyudaya/ ChessBase India

Three takeaways: 1. SG John Sauer put on a masterclass. 2. The Trump Administration is dead right on the law and the Constitution. 3. This one is going to be close. The Supreme Court must protect American citizenship and strike down the scam that is Birthright Citizenship.
