Canada doesn't have the population needed to support high speed rail. It's a boondoggle. The only functioning high speed rail in the US is between D.C. and New York, and it's only for portions of the route. US population is nearly 10X bigger than Canada.

Canada is literally the only G7 country without high speed rail. Conservatives want you to continue to pay sky high prices for gas, worsen congestion on roads and make your commute hours longer. We've been "studying" high speed rail for 50 years - time to get it built.

100 % guarantee Trump will spout that the US “pays for Europe’s defence.” The numbers don’t back it.
Of $968bn US spend on military, only $33bn is spent in Europe, mostly on US bases which are not NATO bases.
The actual US funding of NATO is approx $600m a year, about the same as Germany.
Like 90% of what he babbles, it’s a lie.
