@pipszhou I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but in this card Valko is actually explaining the origin of his people because mc is curious. He responds with “We’re all basically from the same primordial genetic soup” and context wise he’s reading a wolf biology book with her

quick correction about the "we came from the same primordial biomolecular soup" line. the original cn text is like this: "从生命的角度来说" means biologically speaking. "我们有一样的起源" means we share the same origin/have the same source. honestly, i think we shouldn't worry too much because it's just a nothingburger. it's used in a purely scientific/evolutionary way (like coming from the same cosmic source or planet), so it's not the same as caleb and mc's dynamic at all. they aren't family or blood-related/twins. an odd choice, to be honest. i just wonder why english localization chose to use the term "primordial" (which means existing from the beginning of time). it's a concept we associate with caleb's lore, so the word choice just feels unnecessarily confusing for no reason. sorry for causing confusion. i'm still slightly confused myself lol so i would love to discuss further.

@devotedxavier The trailer includes his 2 standard companions, the wolf one is the standard myth and his main story cut scenes. We have yet to get a pv on his standard pool romance route cards and his limited solo banner pv. I believe he’s following Caleb’s release order.

I genuinely despise it when players demean Valko’s looks by saying he looks like a mix of all Li’s as if the other 5 aren’t final fantasy rip offs😭Every Li looks similar to another Li or a diff game character

@xiababysister It was equally as bad, a lot of people had reported to Infolds customer service to get Caleb removed. Not as horrible as Valko’s situation because Caleb was trademarked in 2023, but it was still intense.
