Missing my person like crazy, but knowing we’re counting down the days until our next hug makes every mile feel tiny. #LongDistanceLove

Small steps = big wins for skill growth! Dedicate 15 mins daily to practice your target skill — consistency beats intensity every time. #SkillBuilding #SelfImprovement,

@waitbutwhy @am_shikhar Principally close, apart from spectrum differences. Another ex I came across from engg. control systems standpoint (just like our brain) - keep updating your model (knowledge/ML w/goal based) with error correction on your expected output when it doesn’t match your desired goal

@waitbutwhy Amazed by the difference in mostly right (in this thread) vs mostly wrong comments (original thread) lol. People using coordinate system need to prove the smaller angle of right triangle first before deriving x/3 length for the Base (triangle’s) intersection

Nothing will make a grown-up feel stupid like basic geometry problems

Each square has area 4. What’s the area of the pink right-angled triangle?

@Ali_Tesla585 @Tesla @elonmusk You still don’t get it! It’s about the art, engineering and masterpiece that goes into these Ultra sports car. Tesla is the same case in terms of engineering but engineering focus is different in both hence different value to people.

@lexfridman @bryan_johnson @KernelCo Listened to this podcast, it’s amazing to hear same perspectives about mind and consciousness and how our civilization hasn’t developed on this yet. Kinda gives me the validation haha notice these things everyday in people and even in myself :) thanks to @SamHarrisOrg too

Here's my conversation with @bryan_johnson, founder of @KernelCo, OS Fund & previously Braintree, about brain-computer interfaces, including a cool demo at the beginning where I wear the new Kernel Flow interface and have my brain recorded and visualized. youtube.com/watch?v=1YbcB6…

@Katiewithluv @Ryanth3nerd @lexfridman If it can create new thoughts or ideas by what we call “thinking” then yes
English

@Ryanth3nerd @lexfridman If you like video games, play the Talos Principle. Also my answer would be yes but I'm not a scientist, philosopher or scholar. It's just my simple hope that AI will be able to carry our history with them into the future (Should they wish to)

@JHochderffer @ReduceTheSauce @lexfridman Jeff- I get Patrick’s proposal but it’s not an accurate example. Backing up all the knowledge would be helpful if there is <100% of extinction. Now farther your backup is and if there is any other intelligent life out there then this <100% will be applicable to them and us
English

@ReduceTheSauce @lexfridman But without the consciousness backed up the data backup is useless. It’s like having a gift card for Blockbuster Video. Great, but you can’t use it.

@CharlotteDornet @Colonel_Puller @Sarah_Katilyn Not a destiny, just a different set of chemical rxns. Imagine if we could eventually control 1 solar system to start with, then effect the galaxy according to our needs! Ofc when talking about this point in future, mortality has to go away. Consciousness still needs to be solved.
English

@Colonel_Puller @Sarah_Katilyn @elonmusk True, but we aren’t going to. We will self-implode like we are supposed to. It is destiny, and it is for the best because we are the worst think that has ever happened to Earth.

@patrickc And yet, Tesla didn't made 1 cent earnings by selling cars. And still the tonnage launched by SpaceX cost more than any tonnage before in history. Nothing he did was good so far, but people deny reality, cause they want believe in some hero, just like Trumps Republicans.
