That's what's not real, and those Jews are rightly called out on that dishonesty. On another note, Israel didn't adopt Judaism's patronymic system (unlike other cultures with the same naming tradition, like Malaysia, where the prime minister is Anwar bin Ibrahim); instead, it adopted the European system of first names and last names. One more proof that modern-day Israel is not the continuation of Antiquity Israel, but a European enterprise.
