@GooglePlay @google Don't remove the ability to sideload unsigned packages plz. At this stage, that freedom is the main reason I stick with, and recommend, Android over iOS. I like being able to install things on my phone like a proper pocket computer.

@essentialassess @essentialassess and please, please have either a human or a better text to speech engine do the video voiceovers. Good online tools for learning are are great, but if they are not extremely reliable then they become a source of frustration and hinder rather than help learning.

@essentialassess also the badge proudly saying you are aligned to NSW curriculum obscures the ’connect with us' text in the footer on your site on mobile in portrait. Though to be fair, in portrait the badges don't appear anyway so being unobstructed would not help.

@essentialassess Video playback on your system regularly fails to show the video, especially when there are multiple videos. I should not have to be removing "display: none" and "opacity: 0" from stylesheets in a browser to allow my child to do schoolwork.

@essentialassess my daughter does her maths homework through her system and it seems good, except that voice is *death*. Seriously, it is awful. Please either find a better text to speech engine or pay someone to voice it.

@Qantas And the premium automated message on the 24 hour phone number that if the flight isn't in the next 24 hours, I should call back later.

Apparently one of the @Qantas premium services people pay for is a web chat bot that directs you to an online form. @Finnair web chat on the other hand responded with a human in <2 minutes and was very helpful (but eventually told me I needed to talk to Qantas).

@ConversationEDU @RMIT I was under the impression it was far from clear that turning plastic bottles into clothes was good for the environment. Plastic bottles can be recycled repeatedly back into plastic bottles, and converting them to clothes dead-ends them (given negligible clothing recycling).

I am grateful that we have many polling places so there are not prohibitive queues to vote, and that elections are held on Saturdays so many people are not working (acknowledging the variation in which groups are less likely to work Saturdays, and regional variation)

I am grateful that mandatory voting can soften 'enthusiastic voter' and 'turnout' effects somewhat.

Happy election day! Once again, regardless of whether I like the outcome or not, I am grateful for much of our electoral system!

It is disappointing that @back4blood isn't on GeForce Now. It's a great platform for all us folks who don't want to buy a gaming machine or a console, but are happy to buy a good game.

@RyanSheales I'm glad you enjoy it. I personally liked it when I could enjoy iview without signing up, and you could still enjoy those features you like so much.

I know being forced to register and log in can be frustrating or intimidating. But guys... the new look ABC iView is genuinely awesome.

@LiamPomfret Hi there, viewers are still be able to access ABC TV via broadcast and ABC livestreams via the ABC iview website without the need to login, but you'll be required to login when accessing ABC iview on your Apple TV. You can find more info here: ab.co/3DbiINw

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't @ABCaustralia claim we'd be able to view live TV through #iView without an account? Just tried to open up the iView app on my Apple TV to watch @madashelltv live, but the app is requiring me to create an account to access anything.

Ugh, can't use ABC iView now unless I register. Mandatory registration is the feature no-one wanted or needed. Maybe we can all share one account from bugmenot and their data analytics can suffer.

apparently the ABC has only received 118 complaints about moving to mandatory login for iView. If you, like me, think requiring a login for iView is bollocks, complain here: abc.net.au/contact/compla… (mandatory login will come in sometime in July)
