@simonecasc @limebike Hi Simone, we're so sorry to see this! Could you please give us the location of the bikes so we can relocate them and take appropriate measures with the riders? 🙏

Well done @limebike and @forestbike_uk this is what building sense of community looks like. Surely not allowing people in restricted parking spot reserved to EV charging should be hard!

Yes Uberto. In his YouTube video Jason had a hard getting GPT to understand the rules he wanted to apply. I try ed using your approach and GPT seam to react better and stick to a certain style throughout the interactions.

I was looking forward to this one @ramtop I have been watching @codemanship videos as well and I love you are prepare ChatGPT in advance. I think is key to not get frustrated with him being stubborn 😂

How to Teach ChatGPT to write clean code youtu.be/4v0VuxZeIIY via @YouTube My first video content. Gosh, this stuff is hard. I'm not very happy with the result (esp. audio) but it's a start. ;) Video quality aside, I hope the content can be useful.

#LeadDevNYC is back! Opening day two is Head of Engineering at Onto, @simonecasc, joining us to ask the question, ‘Are we building engineering platforms using the right metrics?’ If you can’t be here in person - you can live stream it now with your Digital Access Pass.

I don't subscribe to the don't-use-mocks school of thought. My take is simply practical. To do TDD, your tests must be _fast_. You can't afford to spend five minutes (or even one minute) waiting for tests to complete when you work in a 5-minute (or faster) cycle. 1/4

@skamille The quality of the reader can make such a massive difference. I loved certain books in paper but really struggled to pay attention on the audio version. Thanks for sharing

It was incredible to stand on #devoxx stage last week. My talk on Montessori for Leaders was very well received and I enjoyed so much the other talks. Thank you @Devoxx for the great organising a great event!

When you see a "platform" as anything that increases flow by reducing extraneous team cognitive load, then much of the confusion dissipates. This formulation of "platform" was a key light bulb moment for us when writing @TeamTopologies 📗 #fastflow

I don't understand the snark against Platform Engineering. It's been around for a while. You can call it "artifact engineering" if you really want. I find whatever you call it, it's still necessary to be thought of - and especially so if you claim to do SRE.

@stevenbeeckman I’m glad you enjoy it Steven I drafted an article on Freedom within limits. It sounds like the Freedom map (not sure if I’ll stick to the name tbh) caught attention so I’ll post more details :)

Interesting talk on applying the Montessori technique at work by @simonecasc. Learned about the “freedom matrix” to visualize the limits for decisions a team can make. #devoxx

@annashipman Personally practicing at Toastmater has helped me incredibly and reading Resonate from Nancy Duarte has provided me with some great ideas on story structures.

First question after my #QConLondon talk was from @glenathan, storytelling is important in communication, how do you get better at storytelling? Tricky question, I didn't have an answer straightaway...

Working on an @NxDevTools repo reminded me of the Go proverb "A little copying is better than a little dependency"
