Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

@TrackCoachJones Athletics is the only sport where the grass roots officiating is often more strict than at the elite level. Robbing these kids of joy for the sport for something so minor. We absolutely need volunteers to officiate but this is complete overkill.

And track and field gives their officials too much power.
Imagine if an NFL or NBA ref could negate all points scored in the last 10 minutes of play off a single infraction. That's essentially what we do in track.
There are no minor penalties. It's dumb.

The problem with the reasoning that the handball was deemed accidental as the ball also came off Bryan Mbeumo’s hip before it hit his arm is that he then controlled it. It didn’t just hit his arm, he trapped the ball, clearly gaining an advantage as he turned and shot. #MUNNFO
