Corinthians’ Carlos Miguel linked with #NFFC. Initial thoughts on the GK. Positives: Largely a good shot stopper with instinctive reactionary skills. 6ft 8, so in-play crosses aren’t normally an issue. Can use both feet comfortably - which is a huge plus. Also an excellent distributor out of his hands (both throwing and kicking when looking to break quickly). Negatives: Tends to punch attacking free kicks/corners, especially in crowded areas. Although good with both feet, he’s made a few poor decisions when passing this season - often when under little pressure. I can see why a deal would be done at the price (€4m) and with a relationship established with Corinthians. However, looks to be a backup option.

Let's make it clear: living on the streets is not a ‘lifestyle choice’ - it is a sign of failed government policy. No one should be punished for being homeless. Criminalising people for sleeping in tents, and making it an offence for charities to help them, is unacceptable.

Great to see @NFFC developing as a team in the Premier League. Played some good stuff last night with the new players settling in nicely. Always good to get a point away. Looking forward to seeing how Coops & the staff continue to develop it in the coming games. Good times 👏🏻⚽️
