He’s only here to make himself look better and because he’s so pathetic he can’t leave, they haven’t even had a relationship or time together for over a year now, he talks about how all they do is fight, how awful it is and how she is yet he’s here… It’s pathetic, acting like he has values and self respect when all he’s done is the opposite.

Exactly. Just adds to their awkward, no chemistry dynamic because they’ve been together for almost a year yet we’ve had nothing until the last couple weeks because they need it for the storyline. Maybe it’s just me, and I know their big storyline kicks off, but I wish they gave them more scenes as a couple before this SL. Feels like they haven’t had many scenes together despite dating for a while #Corrie

But it feels too soon for Corrie to be showing another toxic relationship after Theo & Todd, & Leanne & Idris are already an unhealthy couple. Poorly written if it wasn't suspicious, though.

I'm sure #Corrie didn't mean it, but Dylan saying he didn't want Betsy with anyone else gave shades of Theo threatening Todd in the kitchen. When telling stories, you need to be careful what you're mirroring, b/c this scene had unintended sinister undertones 😬 (2 pics to scroll)

Yeah I agree I just replied to one of the comments here with my thoughts but also they may use this like next year or something down the line when she is recovering and starting to maybe get her life and body back on track and he doesn’t like her freedom anymore or it could all just make her lose her mind a bit, her and Brody will probably do something at some point it’s obvious those 3 will have relations and storylines so then he gets jealous and this side and his past side comes out and it could be a storyline, where people who noticed this red flag won’t be surprised but others may learn.
