The normalization of tactical nuclear weapons, or their more powerful alternatives, would open up pandora's box globally.
Just this past year, airline companies have added a clause to their insurance preventing the grounding of flights in the event of a nuclear detonation (anywhere on Earth).
Governments in Europe have been handing out nuclear survival literature, of varying quality, ranging from "stay inside and watch the TV", to practical guides on how to actually prepare for and survive nuclear fallout.
Perhaps the worst part of nuclear weapons, is that they are largely survivable, for most of the global population. However, their utility in destruction would cause tertiary affects far beyond the size and scope of conventional weapons, including EMP.
We are barrelling towards a world with this is possible, that kinetic use of nuclear weapons may actually be deployed in warfare. When a country is so desperate to disarm an adversary, or when a nations back is against the wall, or when tactical low-yield nuclear weapons are used in combat.
The coming months will change the world.

I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. As dumb as these protests are and as hypocritical as they are, communism is not incongruent to No Kings. Communism has no King. It is an economic and political system that is far worse than any King.

I in fact do not “trust the plan,” especially when the exact plan is never coherently articulated. The idea that we should reserve criticism of our elected leaders on the vague assumption that there must be some sort of “plan” that we mere mortals don’t understand is just embarrassing. How did “trusting the plan” work during COVID? How has it ever worked?
