Tonight Mayor .@DanielLurie gave an address at City Hall to celebrate the closing of Black History Month. What most people didn't see, is that moments prior, a senior had fainted on the steps of City Hall. Mayor Lurie came to her aid, stayed by her side, holding her hand. He stayed on the floor, not moving an inch, until the paramedics arrived, and she thankfully recovered. It's these moments, when the cameras aren't rolling, that make me inspired to serve alongside our Mayor. And proud to be a San Franciscan.

Just in: SF Mayor @DanielLurie's priority fentanyl legislation gets green light at Board of Supervisors in a 10-1 vote. It'll cut red tape and give his office more power in seeking city contracts to address issues related to homelessness, public safety & the opioid crisis. In a statement, Lurie says it "gives us the tools to treat this crisis with the urgency it demands."

NEW: Mayor Daniel Lurie’s proposal to speed up San Francisco’s response to the fentanyl crisis was broadly embraced Wednesday at City Hall and appears likely to pass next week. trib.al/YE4ybcZ

@michelletandler A word of caution if you think Lurie is a moderate. Look up the contributions he made to campaigns. Who did he support? Thao.
