I stopped off to see @singlespeedsean and was treated to this engineering masterpiece. Roofing bolt heads were the right size for the locking channel, so he put them through the lathe, drilling out the centre, tapping it and then loctiting a stud into the head

Thus making a tie down stud for the front forks of his bike, to go into the back of his van. I don't have the characters to fully expand on how the track is routered into the ply bed, so it's flush with the floor Thought you might enjoy @RalphHosier @__Ranen__ @richardbrunning

@TrepidExplorer @Aviemoron Talkytoaster are maps based on open source that look and feel like OS maps, and are vector, much better than OS on a small screen, all I use.

@Aviemoron This sounds like excactly what I have except I don't understand "talkytoaster". Please explain? Is this going to save the day? Seems to be functioning normally at the moment but hoping it won't go BOOM when I add the course.

Playing with Garmin. Software update fucked the expensive OS Maps I bought years ago so I've been trying to save them by loading software from 2018. Having no success. Has anyone genuinely switched to Wahoo and find it any frickin' better? Garmin base maps look shite.

@gutsibikes I thought the rules were clear, 'only commercial services available to everyone' means just that? So anything else isn't Self Supported. I refused a jelly baby being handed out on the HT550 as it's not within the rules, didn't help though as I still scratched the next day 😆
