@pocehneheb @dhh I spent a few hours of bug fixing Omarchy. That is not what I expected. It's the worst Linux version I have ever worked with and I am using Linux since the late 90s.

Omarchy keeps improving with polish, fixes, and tweaks between the major versions. This is the real benefit of building together with a community instead of rolling it all alone. Sharp edges are whittled away before you even hit them. v3.2.3 out now! github.com/basecamp/omarc…

@nickchapsas It's not still considerably better than alternatives, not that it is good, but other os are unusable.

@levelsio ChatGPT is getting dumber every day. I guess it is getting to much direct input from idiot users and reddit clowns. And yes, I noticed the same. Everytime I caught him telling nonsense, his answer is "exactly" as if he knew all the way. He is making more and more mistakes.

I am still of this opinion GPT-5 is just highly retarded and does things Claude would never It just told me to delete a partition, promising me the data would remain (of course it wouldn't), then after I did it all data was gone and it said "That's exactly what happened!" 🤷‍♂️

I hate ChatGPT 5, it's so bad, it's so lazy and it won't let me switch back to 4o cause I'm on Plus, this might really make me switch to Anthropic's app now, I'm actually annoyed by how bad it is, it's making my productivity go 10x lower cause nothing it says works

Omarchy is bloated Sometimes it breaks randomly (it did) Sometimes you have to go scrolling down random github issues trying to find a very specific fix It's not perfect, but it's what got me to switch to Linux, and for that, I am happy

There's a great misunderstanding that The Year of Linux on The Desktop depends on approval the kind of existing Linux losers who think their nerd status is contingent on shitting on newcomers and their excitement.
