@wachelreeks I still hold that restrictions breed creativity—and as the game grows in every way, why give up this very successful restriction (color identity in its current form)?

After a few weeks of discussion on hybrid mana, I'm curious to see where players sit today. Are you for or against a change to the hybrid mana rule?

@wachelreeks I’m not a big UB person (although as. Johnny/Jenny when brewing I love unique mechanics) but I’d be more inclined to play “old frame” or “pre EDH” to get the classic MTG feel Have you dabbled in either?

I'm curious! Is there enough frustration with Universes Beyond (or, alternatively, affection for Magic's own IP) that there is a real audience for a "Commander Within" variant? Would you prefer to play a variant of Commander that excluded all UB cards?

@JoshuaClaytor @RossHunneds That does sound like a different situation—off-the-cuff hostility towards the folks one is sitting down to play with is really against the point of coming togother to game. (I couldn’t find that thread, but point taken).

@skaltered @RossHunneds yes there is beyond the hate behavior. A lot of it is off color jokes, racism, misogyny and is in the actual thread. It's never just the hat. and it was never just the hat in this instance.
