3/3 One of the AIs kept confident that it was not Dutch, but German. Finally, my colleague corrected them (in Dutch) and suddenly the AI apologised, explained themselves and gave the excuse they were still learning. 🤣

2/3 Someone on BGG asked ChatGPT about the etymology of the word "verflucht" and ChatGPT explained it's not a Dutch word, but only German. Until its response got questioned, and then it apologised: chat.openai.com/share/3636c8fa… So one of my colleagues checked with other AIs:

I never post anything about AI, but this story is too fun to skip. Recently I noticed someone playing a board game called "Verflucht!". That's German for "cursed". But it's also a Dutch (combined) word for "paint smell". So some people asked #OpenAI about this: 1/3 🧵

En nou is het even klaar. Hier is mijn Nederlandkaart zoals ik hem 2 weken ga laten liggen. Er komen geen grote wijzigingen aan de kaart zelf meer. Zien jullie nog dingen die feitelijk niet kloppen? Laat het weten! In de week van 10 april wordt de definitieve versie afgemaakt.
