Responded to the wrong thread. Yes, I mean intrasexual, although "intersexual" is equally apropos. A childless (single / divorced) and immature aunt will at times see her nieces as younger, more fecund competitors for male attention and resources, even inside the family. As she ages, and as her own access to male attention and resources fades, she can get bitter and resentful of her niece's youth. Think of the evil stepmother from Cinderalla. She loves her own daughters, but hates the rising influence of someone who is not her own daughter.

The answer to Modern Feminism is complete and utter abandonment of all women who adhere to it. Complete. Fucking. Abandonment. Permanently.

@skeptic_witch @ladielabrys2 @hollowearthterf I’m not sure what “in charge of the world” is supposed to mean. Regardless, women have very powerful influence over men and their behavior, and the desire for romantic acceptance from women drives some men to insanity, exactly how it happens for women.

In the case of beauty standards, it have to be Hollywood, the media and the beauty industry, all whom are mostly owned by men so its men who call at least most of the shots. True story.

Since men rule the world & the household, they decide the standard for both genders.

@asvldr @LisaBritton In that case, then it’s indeed culture. But NOT the prioritizing of education, no as educated ppl have the highest marriage rates; but more like too much individualism & consumerism. Maybe lack of positive religion as well. But education & career? Never an issue.

@skeptic_witch @LisaBritton Thing is, you are likely talking from an American perspective whereas i am speak from an European perspective. In my country only 34 percent is registered Christian and rest is mostly atheist. Also most people are rich, especially gen X, bommers but few children

@skeptic_witch I haven't seen anything specific about aunt versus niece, but I might suggest that if you are dealing with a childless aunt, you're not actually dealing with an aunt, but a direct intersexual competitor. If that's the case, look at the work of Dr Dani Sulukowski.

@skeptic_witch Women liking other women is not bad. Men liking other men is not bad. But the combination of the two, at the extreme levels that the research indicates is commonplace, is an incredibly serious problem.

@skeptic_witch Competition and merit are good. The OG feminists are fine. Equality is fine. I'm speaking specifically about the ethological combination of evolved female implicit bias against masculinity, and evolved female ingroup bias for femininity. The combination is lethal.
