Lastly because of an emergency op before mine, my whole local NHS team volunteered to work late to get me done.

Thank goodness the Local NHS came through with a local op, I would have been in no condition to travel so soon after, let alone before my op. This desperate action by the Tories makes sense after Sunak lying his head off last night. BTW the London op would have been far more.

@wesstreeting interesting point on the tiny drop in NHS waiting list over the past couple of months. After waiting 2 years for a heart op I suddenly got a call from a private London hospital offering me a op on the NHS within weeks if I was prepared to go to London.

Definition of a first world problem I know, but like most Waitrose customers I’m paying first world prices.

Today told because of “different beans” this replacement service is no longer offered and Waitrose are letting customers down on their free coffee promise.

@waitrose interested to hear from other customers, both coffee machines not working first thing Sunday morning no prospect of working till Monday. This seems to happen more frequently now coffee machines not serviced in house. In past coffee bar offered replacement free coffee.
