This is why Israel's primary goal prior to the war was to get us onboard. They simply can't fight Iran w/out U.S. combat power.
This is also why Israel will spend 100s of millions or more, buying influence in DC, it is a core pillar of their national defense.
All of this is well known in DC but not discussed freely.

Today Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao said the U.S. is pausing arms sales to Taiwan because of the war with Iran.
“Right now we're doing a pause in order to make sure we have the munitions we need for Epic Fury,” Cao told Sen. Mitch McConnell.
Sec. Hegseth has said "we have plenty" when asked about munitions concerns.
Last week, President Trump said the $14 billion package of US arms to Taiwan that awaits his approval is a "very good negotiating chip" with China.
